According to the dictionary wellness is “the quality or state of being healthy in body and mind, especially as the result of deliberate effort”
It should be your business to look after your wellness. It takes discipline, hard work, persistence and dedication to yourself. It shouldn’t feel like a chore to want optimal vitality and energy. It is about balance and intuition rather than popping the latest CBD or Mushroom product.
Take your health into your own hands. When you look after yourself physically, mentally and energetically, everything shifts – your skin glows, you get stronger, have more mental space while the endorphins released in exercise make you feel more resilient. Your sleep will be better and so you naturally have more energy.
Sometimes we have to get to the bottom of the limitations we set ourselves that are draining our energy without our awareness. We think if we take all the ‘wellness’ products, then we can continue to do things that are inherently not good for us – behaviours and relationships may be literally sucking the life out of us. How much of what you do sparks joy vs how much of your life is on autopilot and your wellness feels like it is in the hands of others or outside circumstances?
Make you your priority! Feed your mind with experiences, do things that frighten and challenge you, recognise limitations that have hindered you in the past and make a concerted effort to move past them into new possibilities.
