Nutritional Therapy and DNA Testing

I’m Dina, a registered Nutritionist (mBANT CNHC), supporting people with healthy weight loss, bowel and bladder health, hormonal health and more, with a special interest in musculoskeletal conditions, such as osteoporosis and arthritis.

I am also a qualified Nutrigenomics practitioner, offering DNA testing, analysis and personalised plans based on unique genetic dispositions.

My goal is to make nutrition accessible for people with limited time, energy or mobility. Whether you’re a busy parent, you work long hours or you have a disability, I provide achievable nutrition plans for each unique situation, using healthy shortcuts and practical solutions combined with evidence-based nutrition.

My qualification is in Naturopathic Nutrition from the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) in London and I am registered with the British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).

Starter Package

Cost: £295

If you need help getting to the root of your symptoms, you want to manage your weight, you need nutritional support alongside a medical condition or want to feel more energised, this supported package is for you. We will work closely together to make sure the plan is achievable and enjoyable, so you can achieve your health goals and feel your best.

The starter package includes:

• 1x 60-minute initial consultation and health assessment at The Refinery

• 1x 45-minute follow-up consultation after 4-6 weeks via Zoom

• Personalised nutrition plan with dietary, lifestyle and supplement recommendations

• Recipes and nutritional factsheets (including my signature 5-Minute Meals recipe pack)

• Laboratory test recommendations (if required)

• Email support in between appointments

Before your first consultation, you will be sent a health questionnaire and a 3-day food diary. The consultation will involve a comprehensive health assessment of your symptoms, lifestyle and medical history in order to create a personalised nutrition plan for you. You will receive your plan by email within 5 working days.

At the follow-up consultation, we will review your symptoms and any test results, monitor progress and challenges and adjust the plan accordingly.

DNA Package

Cost: £495 – £895

Variations in our DNA are what make each of us unique and can have significant effects on our health. It can affect how we respond to food, how we absorb nutrients, how we exercise, sleep, detox, metabolise and so much more.

Accessing this information through a nutrigenomics test can help with the management of current health issues and the knowledge to take a preventative approach to your future health. The results give us the power to make smart everyday choices through nutrition and lifestyle interventions.

As a qualified nutrigenomics practitioner, I work with Lifecode Gx, the UK’s leading provider of nutrigenomics testing services, to ensure accurate, evidence-based testing and interpretation of results.

How does it work?

Once you have booked and completed the questionnaire, a test kit is sent out to you. A simple cotton swab is used to collect saliva from the inside of your mouth. It is sent off to a lab for analysis, and the results are ready 2 weeks later. Once the results are received, you can book in your 60-minute consultation with me at The Refinery. We will go through the results in detail and discuss personalised food, supplement and lifestyle interventions. You will receive a summary of results and your nutrition plan after the consultation.

The Nutrient Core report:

A broad-ranging report, suitable for everyone, looking at genes involved in food intolerance (lactose, gluten and caffeine), appetite, blood sugar, vitamin and mineral needs (vitamins A, C and D), detoxification, microbiome diversity, sleep and inflammation.
