What inspired us this weekend was the exhibition on the history of LGBTQ+ people and communities in Southwark. It Celebrates LGBT History Month on the history of local LGBTQ+ people and communities and delves into the Southwark Archives to uncover a world of queer culture and forgotten stories. 

The Refinery is a place of pure acceptance where everybody and anybody is welcome. We know that going to a studio can be pretty daunting, especially if you have never done yoga or any kind of class before. You do not have to be skinny, fit or match any tick box to come to us. We welcome everybody with open arms and celebrate that each and every one of us is brilliantly unique. Let’s big it up for individuality, love and acceptance.
