Roaring like a lion, hissing like the ocean, feeling like a tree, walking like a gorilla or humming like bees.. all those are playful introductions to the world of yoga for children. 

Children are born withinnate flexibility, a gift for poses, and a curious attitude for the physical as well cultural heritage associated with the yoga tradition. Practicing yoga will help your children increase spatial and body awareness, bringing strength and flexibility, a calmer outlook and confidence in the world.

This course will run during terms time and is aimed to be progressive, teaching children a variety of poses and moving gradually towards a deeper understanding of movement and flow. The course will also include relaxing meditation and simple vocal chords work.

There are two £10 drop in classes scheduled from 17:00–18:00 on Wednesday 9th and Wednesday 16th December.  This will give both the parents and the children a chance to come and familiarise themselves with the teacher and the studio before making the decision to take a 6 week course.  The drop in classes are for mixed ages.

February 24th
March 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th

Price: £48 for each 6 week course

Spaces limited to 16 students per class
